Viewsonic is going ahead and establishing a new standard for tablet sizes. It is about to unveil its giant 22 inch tablet at the Computex on the on the 5th of June. The usual tablet size is taken to be 10 inches. Kindle however launched a 7 inch fire tablet which became very popular.
It is believed that ViewSonic had released a teaser in which amongst the various other Touch type gadgets was a 22-inch tablet termed as a business tablet. It is more likely to be powered by the Android Ice Cream Sandwich. This giant touch-type device will have a Windows 8 display that is multi-touch. Cloud computing will also form a part of it. Advance technology laser projectors and some more features like electronic billboards that are interactive will form a part of this tablet.
A tablet as we know is a device that can be easily carried from one place to another but with ViewSonic's giant tablet it would be difficult to say so. However its large monitor will make working on it pretty exciting as it will run on none other than Android ICS. Details about this tablet's other specifications are not yet known and will probably be released at its launch a few days later at the Computex.
ViewSonic is known for its quality and varied range of monitors so its a speculation that this 22 inch device is actually not a tablet but just a monitor that runs on Android 4. We will have to wait for the actual event on June 5 to know all our answers.
