Videocon A24, Dual core Android phone launched for Rs 4699

Slowly and gradually, Videocon is strengthening its portfolio in Indian smartphone market. Adding one more member to it, Videocon has announced to launched A24, a dual core Android mobile.

Videocon A24 is one of the rare mobile phones to feature a dual core processor in sub-5k price range. Additionally, it sports a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Powered by 1.2GHz Dual core processor and 256MB Ram, the device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Videocon A24 packs a 3.2 MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera for video calling. The 512MB internal memory can further be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. On the connectivity front, it offers 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and MicroUSB. The company has powered it with 1450 mAH battery.

Videocon delivers an excellent value for money at this price range.Though the 256MB Ram is a let down, but Dual core processor and latest OS at this price worth a wow.
