Videocon launches VT10 tablet

Videocon has also entered into the Tablet market with the launch of Videocon VT10 Tablet. This release comes post the recent recent launch of Videocon A20 and A30 smartphones. With the new year approaching there is a stiff competition amongst Tablet manufacturers to provide enhanced and user friendly features in an affordable price.

It is the company’s first android Tablet PC. It sports a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800p capacitive multi touch IPS display.  It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered by 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The powerful processor ensures faster performance and enhanced productivity. The device also offers much more efficient hardware features compared to its competitors.

The Tablet has a 2MP rear camera with Digital Zoom as well as a 2.0MP front camera and 8GB internal memory that is expandable upto 32GB via micro SD card. It has a thickness of 10.3mm. It has dimensions of 257.3MM x 176MM x 10.3MM .

It is expected to face stiff competition from Karbonn Smart Tab 10, Micromax FunBook Talk, and Swipe 3D Life Tab X74 3D.

Videocon VT10 comes with lots of preloaded user friendly apps. There is no information about the possibility of an OS upgrade in future.

The Tablet is fuelled by a 6800mah battery which provides a decent battery support for its various features. Videocon VT10  Tablet supports Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity via USB Dongle.
The Tablet is available for sale at major sites online and the best available price of this device is  Rs 11200.
