After the successful launch of ViewPad E70 at CES 2012, ViewSonic is readying a new Android tablet for Mobile World Congress 2012. According to a known source, this tablet is a 7-inch device and likely to be named as ViewPad G70. The new ViewPad G70 comes with a 1024 x 600 pixels resolution touchscreen and pixel density of 169ppi like ViewSonic ViewPad 7x that we saw in August 2011. This device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and carries a custom ViewScene interface. Apparently, the slate will be Google-certified and allows the user to access Google services and Android market.
ViewSonic ViewPad G70 will be the second Android 4.0 tablet from the company after the ViewPad E70. This device will be powered with 1Ghz dual core processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal memory. For an additional memory, one can use a MicroSD card up to 32GB. The device comes with connectivity options including Bluetooth, Mini and Micro USB ports, HDMI port, Wi-Fi and 3G support. Packing all these stuff, the ViewSonic ViewPad G70 is expected to be an ultra-light tablet. ViewPad G70 sports two 2.0 Megapixel cameras on front and rear-side with video capturing facility. Though the company didn't comment anything officially, it is expected that the tablet will be priced around $350 (£220).
