Under the hood, the device powered with 1Ghz ARM A8 processor and coupled with 4GB internal memory. Also, users can utilize the external memory slot for memory expansion. The device runs on Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread designed for tablets and not Honeycomb. This is often in the case of low end tablets. Surprisingly, ViewPad 7e is omitted to access official Android market which is a major disappointment. However, users have an access to Amazon Appstore for downloading necessary apps. Some of the pre-loaded apps with the device are Twitter, Kindle and TuneIn Radio. For the connectivity options, the device comes with Bluetooth, HDMI port.
