Vodafone India Launches Mobile Application Store

Vodafone India, the largest telecommunication services provider in India launched a new mobile application store. This new Mobile Application Store powered by Appia serves 145 million subscribers in India with a vast selection of 10000 free and paid apps. The store virtually supports any handsets across major operating systems including Android, JavaSymbian and BlackBerry.

The app store provides applications from wide categories including games, entertainment, social networking and local culture. Also, this serves as a one-stop shop for all Vodafone India Mobile customers including 2G and 3G. Users can now purchase and download applications and games using the GPRS-enabled handsets.
