Well, when it comes to ecommerce TRUST is very important. The product pages should tell the information upfront. Take for example, pre-order items or forthcoming items. Manufacturers allow retailers to pre-book smartphones that are coming soon. And it is important that ecommerce sites tell upfront that the orders that they are taking are pre-orders. Sony Xperia Go is one such smartphone is not yet launched and expected anytime soon. Flipkart.com and Buytheprice.com clearly mention on their products pages that it is FORTHCOMING ITEM and the buttons clearly say “PRE-ORDER” and the expected date of launch [approximate]
But snapdeal and adexmart do not giving any indication about pre-order or forthcoming items. On top of it, they say that the orders will be shipped in 2-4 working days! How the hell can someone ship the orders when it is not even available on the market? IT’s hightime that they fix this half-truth!
