WickedLeak Wammy Titan to be fitted with 1.2GHz quad-core processor

WickedLeak is introducing a new version of smartphone at Rs 500 to Rs 700 which is higher than the price of the current Wammy Titan. The features of the phone are similar to the Titan which include a 5.5-inch screen with resolution of 960x540, 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth, 8 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and a memory which can expand to 32Gb through microSD.

The processor will acquire a major upgrade. The new processor is a MediaTek’s MTK 6589 dual-core processor operates at 1.2GHz. The graphic of the phone runs with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The CPU and GPU combination is extremely powerful and is just 10-15% less powerful than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4.

With the remaining phone being identical to the Wammy Titan, there were debates if the consumers who own the original Titan piece can sell their phones to acquire the new one and roll out a difference amount. The answer to this question was ‘’no’’ the main reason being the tediousness of the process.

The upgrade of the processor is performed at a reasonable price according to regulations from the new Union Budget; the chips can be imported without the task of duties.

The Titan was introduced in January and is fitted with dual-SIM slots and 1GB of RAM. The phone is designed with an internal memory of 4GB. The device is fitted with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

The phone has a dimension of 144x89x12mm and operates on 2500 mAh battery and the company reveals than the phone has the features of up tp 8 hours of talk time capacity and 260 hours of standby time. The Wammy Titan is rolled out in black and white colours for Rs 13,000.
