Windows Phone Marketplace grows to 25000 Apps

It was just a couple of months back we were discussing about the Windows market place crossed 15000 mark. Today, the market place is loaded with 25000 apps and still growing. The app store gets an acceleration when the Microsoft changes the submission policy in the month of march. Therefore the growth rate almost tripled and surfaced with a certain level of apps.


The growth rate was robust, when compared to Android and BlackBerry markets. Several new developers entered the market and feeds the user with a wide variety of apps and serving different categories. About 51% of market is loaded with free apps and even the paid apps were almost below US$ 1.00
