The World's slimmest smartphone Huawei Ascend P1 S, that made an debut entry at 2012 International CES will be on sale soon. The device with its 6.68mm thin body knocked-out the recently acclaimed slimmest Android smartphone Motorola Droid RAZR (7.1mm). The Chinese handset maker Huawei tries to fit in the gap with their cutting edge technology devices. The company by introducing the Ascend P1 S directly competes with first tier companies like Samsung and Motorola. The new smartphone Huawei Ascend P1 S is expected to hit the Middle East and Asian markets including India from July 2012.
Huawei Ascend P1 S boasts a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with qHD (960 x 540 px) resolution. The device powered with 1.5Ghz Dual-core Cortex-A9 based processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of ROM. This smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Android OS. The device sports an 8.0 Megapixel backside-illuminated (BSI) camera that records video at 1080p HD quality. Additionally, the device carries an 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.
