Indian mobile phone maker Lava is all set to launch its latest offering the Xolo A1000 sometime in February this year. The company recently launched the Xolo X500 as a mid range smartphone and already its new smartphones arrival is hinted at. The images and brief features of the new phone were leaked online.
The Xolo A1000 is a mid range smartphone device built with dual SIM facility and the Android 4.1.1 JellyBean operating System. It comes with a comes with a big 5 inch IPS HD display on a 70mm width and 8mm thick device.
Some of its tech specs as mentioned online include a powerful 1Ghz Dual Core processor from MediaTek with 512MB of RAM and an 8GB internal memory that can be expanded further up to 32GB via micro SD card.
The smartphone is armed with a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3MP front camera. Finally it is fuelled on a 2100 mAh battery.
There is no confirmation on the above specifications from the company and we are likely to witness some changes. Also, official announcements are still awaited from the company with respect to the smartphones release date. The Xolo A1000 is expected to be priced in the range of Rs.12,000 to Rs. 15,000.
However, from what we’ve glimpsed at so far, the Xolo A1000 appears to be packed with some delightful specifications and will probably pose a tough competition to the likes of Karbonn A111 and Micromax Canvas A116 HD.
