The next member of Xolo Q series is Quad core mobile with 1GB RAM, priced just Rs 7999
XOLO has introduced a new Android smartphone in its Q-Series dubbed as XOLO Q500 with a quad-core processor for Rs. 7,999. The phone will be available to buy in the offline and online stores in coming days. The new XOLO smartphone is launched with a cool software feature called X-TransPic mobile application, a language translation tool that translates Hindi text into English by pointing out the camera at any Hindi signboard or poster etc.
XOLO will pre-load the X-TransPic mobile application on all the future phones from the company powered by Snapdragon processor.
The XOLO Q500 comes with a 4 inch QVGA touch display with the resolution of 800*480 pixels and 233 ppi pixels density. The quad-core processor in the phone is a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225Q S4 Play with Cortex-A5 cores. Its performance is further supported by 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 203 graphics processor.
The operating system in the phone is a bit older, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Connectivity wise it offers WiFi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth and GPS. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with 3G network connectivity support. 4 GB of internal storage in the device is further expandable using a microSD card slot.
Looking at the specs, apart from the presence of a bit old Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the smartphone looks really decent and the presence of quad-core Snapdragon in the budget price range is also very impressive. We will update you more when the phone goes on sale, so stay tuned!
