Xperia family to get Xperia remote services soon

Sony took a lot of time for testing its remote service in Nordic region where it was launched in January, now with all problems solved in the new service, Sony is all set to give it to whole world’s Xperia users.

My Xperia is especially designed while keeping every security aspect in mind. It will be delivered as a remote security app enabling users protecting and locating their Xperia smartphones in case the device is misplaced or stolen. The app can be downloaded from Sony’s Update center.

After the download user will need to activate through ‘Xperia’ setting options followed by connecting the device with myxperia.sonymobile.com via Google credentials and that’s it. Remote access will be given to the Xperia family user.

The new service is capable of sounding an alert alarm and wake-up the display even if the device is in the silent mode using the web interface of the app. It also maps the location of the smartphone, remotely locks the device in order to keep the data secure and even wipes data from both internal and external storage whenever required in no time.

With the new service from Sony, users will now be able to benefit in all aspects, be it security or money as My Xperia is free of cost service available 24x7 to the user. One more thing to note is that security services by mobile companies is in trend now a days, every smartphone maker is launching their own security services be it Indian Spice, American Apple or South Korean Samsung in order to ensure proper data security to smartphone users.
