Zync has announced a new Android smartphone dubbed as Zync Cloud Z605 at the recently held GITEX 2013 event in Dubai. It is going to join the club of the biggest Android smartphones with its 6.5inch display. Company has announced that the phone will be available to buy in India from November 2013. However, it didn’t revealed price of the device at the moment.

Features wise, Zync Cloud Z605 comes with a massive display with unspecified resolution. It is running on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card slot. It is a dual SIM device with GSM+GSM, 2G & 3G network connectivity.

“We cannot imagine a better platform than GITEX to reach out to the rest of the world. We see tremendous potential in the phablet market as there has always been a gap between the demand and supply due to high price points of these products and to bridge this gap, Zync has developed the Z605 phablet at an affordable price without compromising on the features.” Amul Mohan Mittal, co-founder, Zync Global, commented on the launch.

Zync has also pre-loaded the phone with a lot of applications like, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Viber, Office Suite, Facebook and Whatsapp. It is one of the largest Android phablets we have seen in the market till the date. It will be competing against the plus sized devices like Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 in the market.
