ZYNC has launched Zync Z99, the 2G calling tablet for Rs 6990. With its economical price tag, the tablet becomes one among the cheapest calling tablets available in Indian market, though its will face a stiff competition from Micromax Funbook Talk.

Users of this device can make calls using 2G GSM SIM. It can also provide 3G support through External Dongle and the device can access internet through Wi-Fi as well. It is spotted with a 7-inch TFT LCD capacitive touch screen display having 800 x 480 pixels display resolution. This tablet has dual camera, 0.3 MP front camera for video calling and 0.3 MP rear camera for clicking images and recording videos.

Zync Z99 is powered by 1.2 GHz processor, MALI 400-3D GPU and 512MB DDR III Ram. The tablet has a 4GB internal memory which is further expandable up to 32GB. It comes with some pre-installed apps like BigFlix, IBIBO games etc.

Amul Mohan Mittal, Co- founder, Zync Global, said,”With the calling facility and cheaper rates than 3G, the 2G tablets do have a lot of potential especially in the Tier II-Tier III cities. The 3G plans are expensive, hence it has been a common trend that though people have 3G-enabled devices, they would still opt for 2G plans which are more economical.”

The 2G tablet is available across various e-commerce websites and retail stores in the market. Zync offers customers one year pick-up and drop facility if the tablet stops working.

Zync Z99 features a 3000mAh Li-ion battery which according to the company lasts for 5-6 hours with an ease.
