Overall: Samsung fans (i myself got the galaxy 3 and galaxy tab2 but have faced stupid customer service at their service center) can buy anything blindfold...else in a sane world grand with a stupid display of 800*480 would never sell at that price...i have been using andro for just less than about 3 yrs now.nin sub 15k you get these very important features in this phone :n1. HD IPS Screen with 1280 X 720 pixel resolution with a pixel density of 257.65 (grand has just 187)n2. 1 Gb ram as android pretty much consumes most of a 512 RAM mobiles, so anything below 1Gb is a crime for any android phone.n3. 2500 Mah battery may not be the best in the industry for the screen size, but i will take it anyday esp the price i am paying for this, because Byond has been very impressive in shipping a powerbank of 2200 Mah with the phone.n4. 5.7 is slightly on the bigger size, but wait till you watch an HD Video on this and you will instantly fall for it.n5. Jelly Bean..Last 4 months that i have been using JB on my galaxy...its simply awesome.n6. Dual Sim ...Its become more of a standard feature now.n7. 1 Ghz Dual Core...how I would have wanted a Quad core...but it would be asking too much at that price and config :)nnIt ticks most criteria for me..and unless I got 35k to spend on note2 or 25k plus on other good phones....this pretty much satisfies me on most criterion....(if you thought about Canvas HD from Micromax, then let me tell you, its a great config...but others have reported that it hangs a lot, though the benchmark scores are great for it and it is quite snappy....but i personally dont play any game which a dual core wont b able to play and i needed a bigger than 5 screen..u can decide for yourself)...remember, dont go by anyone else's choice...a mobile is an individual choice and if a certain phone calls out to ur heart, than let it be the one you buy and consider it the best for you :)nnCONS : Very Bad customer Service by Byond Tech, I have been trying to contact them for since March 1st week both to their local service center and the company Head office and customer care through email and phone. But they never have a solution and my query to them was just two : a BLACK color flip cover as white got dirty very soon. and a matte scratch guard as the one which comes with this is very bad and has got a lot of marks already. When we go for a brand which is not samsung or related, we atleast expect them to be honest with their attempt to please customers as word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, but given the customer service I have experienced, I would think again !!!
