Display and Design
The Datawind Ubislate 7DCX Plus packs a 7-inch LCD display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels retaining pixel density of 133ppi. The tablet comes in a black coloured body that weighs 500 grams.
OS and Configuration
The tablet runs on Android v4.4.2 (Kitkat) operating system. Being an entry level tablet, the device does not offers much in terms of performance. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8312 processor paired with 512MB RAM.
Camera and Storage
For photography, the tablet is fitted with a 2MP camera on the rear along with a 0.3MP front facing camera for selfies and video calls. It houses 8GB space of internal storage, that can be further extended upto 32GB using microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
The tablet comes with various connectivity options that includes voice calling feature, dual SIM, Wi-Fi with hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0. Power required to keep this device functioning is derived from 2,500mAh li-ion battery, which is non removable.
The Datawind Ubislate 7DCX Plus is an entry level Android tablet. The primary highlight of this tab, are its connectivity features that supports voice calling and also its enormous 8GB storage which is really great considering its price. Although it comes with just basic configuration, so performance wise not much can be expected from this device.
