Delighted with this laptop. The screen is especially good - 13.3", 1920x1080 matte screen in a 12" body. The bezel is super thin and the keyboard lights up. Extremely light (comparable to MacBook Air). I had initially planned on getting the MacBook Air but decided to get this instead because of the substantially faster processor (6th gen vs 4th gen).
I didn't bought it from amazon and my specifications of ultrabook are a bit different, I have an 8GB ram instead of 4GB, 256GB SSD instead of 128GB and a QHD Touchscreen display. I fell in love with this ultrabook the moment i unboxed it. Its quite high priced but its worth due as it has great build quality and excellent after sales support of dell which even cover accidental damage during the warranty period. Excellent machine if you want a windows based ultrabook and with Apple not launching any performance ultrabook in 2016, it is a great buy for 2016.
~Extremely fast - boots faster than high end smartphone, (press the power button and the login window appears in 5 sec, type your password and you can use your applications straight away, no delay even for a sec)
~Amazing Battery - although the battery life depends on what work are you doing and the screen brightness settings, mine gives a 10 hrs backup for office applications, 8+ for browsing, 4-6 hrs for gaming (depending on what games you play). Now this is all for my QHD touchscreen for 25% screen brightness (which is quite sufficient, as the display is quite bright), if you are considering Full HD non-touch display consider 2+ hours of battery backup for the same settings
~Great display - the extremely thin bezels give a great feeling of borderless to the screen, if you are a non-mobile or limitedly mobile person who does not mind sacrificing a couple of hours of battery life, then go for the QHD screen its a treat to your eyes
~Smallest footprint - it is the smallest 13in laptop although not the slimmest or the lightest, but still is very thin and light, if you will compare the thickness with other laptops you won't notice much difference in thickness or lightweightedness. And yes as it is the smallest 13in laptop et very powerful
~I/O Ports - XPS 13 offers a decent choice of ports with 2 usb 3.0 ports, 1 usb C type port with thunderbolt 2 support and an sd card slot along with the headphone jack, power and a noble lock slot. Although you will be required to purchase (separately) an adapter which costs arounf 5k if purchased directly from dell, incase you want to connect your laptop to external monitors or projectors or to ethernet but you'll any way require to purchase adapters if you choose any competitor laptops like macbook, spectre or yoga with similar specs. Additionally it has 2 usb 3.0 which are sufficient for day-to-day use.
~Awesome Trackpad - the trackpad is excellent, it supports multitap gestures like 2 finger scrolling, 3 finger window switching bla bla bla, it can do all what a macbook trackpad can do, it feels great & is of the appropriate size
~Web placement - webcam is on the lower left side of the screen which is certainly not a good position for skype calling or video chatting. If you are alot into skype and other video chats and are very much concerned about your own asthetics, then this is not for you!
~Gaming - it is not for hardcore gamers, however light games get a good response and most of the games are playable on low to medium graphics settings, but it will drain your battery only in about 4 hours
To conclude, it is a great laptop, quite high priced but worth it. It you want to buy a windows based ultrabook go for it!!
