The Dell XPS M1330 (DYDWTR1) Netbook sports a 13.3-inch HD LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It is housed in a silver and black coloured outfit which looks stylish but disappoints with a thickness of 33.7mm and a weight of 1.8kg.
Processor and OS
For driving its processes, the notebook is loaded with a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor. To assist the processor in multitasking, there is a 2GB DDR3 RAM which operates at 1,600MHz and is further expandable up to 4GB via the single DIMM port. The presence of 128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M graphics processor enables you to run moderately demanding games and movies. It sails on 64 bit Windows 7 OS.
Camera, Storage and Multimedia
The Dell XPS M1330 (DYDWTR1) Netbook is armed with a 1.3MP webcam and inbuilt microphone so that you can enjoy high resolution video calls without any kind of disturbance. It accounts for the storage purposes of the user with a 160GB SATA hard disk running at 5,400rpm which may fall insufficient after a certain point of time. It also gets a DVD RW Drive which can be used for transferring data via disks.
Battery and Connectivity
The Dell XPS M1330 (DYDWTR1) Netbook sips juice from a 6 cell Li-ion battery and can be connected with other gadgets and networks via Ethernet port, WLAN, Bluetooth, HDMI out, digital media reader, two USB 2.0 ports, VGA port, mini PCI port and FireWire port.
The Dell XPS M1330 (DYDWTR1) Netbook, as the name suggests has been made for internet based applications. However, its dimensions are very disappointing considering its main function and small screen.
