The Dell Venue 8 7840 is driven by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor based on Intel Atom Z3580 chipset. It works with 2GB DDR3 RAM and PowerVR G6430 GPU to ensure smooth handling of demanding tasks.

The Dell Venue 8 7840 sports an 8MP autofocus camera at the back and a 2MP front facing shooter. The main snapper supports Intel RealSense 3D Snapshot photography tool that injects life into images by combining two HD snappers with the main camera. It has 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable.
