Display, Configuration and Features
The Honor Note 8 flaunts a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display and has a screen resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels (445ppi). It has a metal body, measures 178.8 x 90.9 x 7.1mm and weighs 219 grams. In order to run the system, there are two quad core processors (2.5GHz Cortex A72 + 1.8GHz Cortex A53) aided with 4GB of RAM and Mali-T880 MP4 graphics engine. The smartphone boots on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system EMUI 4.1.The handset features split-screen, allowing you to simultaneously operate two windows at the same time. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Camera and Storage
The Note 8 rear is armed with a 13MP main camera (RGBW Sensor + OIS Optical Image Stabilizer + ISP image processing engine) which captures outstanding shots. Even in low-light environments the picture quality is very good. For selfie lovers, there is an 8MP snapper (800 million pixels, F2.0 large aperture) in the front. As far as the storage is concerned, the phone houses an internal memory of 32GB which can be further expanded upto 128GB using a microSD card.
Battery and Connectivity
The battery is fuelled by a 4,500mAh li-polymer battery (fast charging) which claims to render a backup of 57 hours in ordinary internet usage and 38 hours when it comes to heavy internet usage. Video playback can run upto 13.4 hours and games can run upto 6.5 hours. In terms of connectivity, the device offers options such as dual SIM, 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS with A-GPS, Glonass, NFC and USB Type C.
