Overall: This laptop, like most others now a days, comes with a glossy screen. It is virtually impossible to work with such screens for long hours. You cannot work in brightly lit rooms, you cannot have any light sources behind you, you cannot use it out-doors such as balconies. People don't seem to realize this when they are buying a new laptop (focusing rather on the hardware and the looks), and realize it after they have bought it. My advice: look for anti-reflective screens when you buy a new laptop.
Back to this model. The screen is not very bright. The dedicated nvidia graphics card is good for my needs. I am able to run lots of 3D applications comfortably on this one. As the other reviewer says, 2GB is an issue. I got mine upgraded to 6 GB and its fine now. This one comes with 4 cell battery, since it also comes with an Ultra-low powered intel processor (17W TDP). So when it comes to battery life, the benefits of the power savings from the processor are nullified by the the 4-cell battery. Whats the point? I don't get it. The build quality is good. Made of plastic but feels tough. The keys on the keyboard are hard. Overall, I am not happy. But I will have to stick with it for quite sometime now.
