Overall: Update 15th May 2015: nnMy previous review was deleted "somehow" after poor rating to this laptop. The review is again attempted as much as specific and helpful to others who are evaluating this laptop. nI purchased two units of this laptop and both had serious build issues. Despite the conspicuous defects, I was forced to keep one defective laptop courtesy of sluggish response level and time taken by Flipkart team, and had to return other one for a refund but bearing great inconvenience and loss. nnThe first and common issue with both laptops was defective DVD drive that swings almost an inch in both directions after coming out, and one of the laptops had the eject button completely jammed. This can’t be deemed a coincidence and asserts the manufacturing defect.n nThe base of laptop has got very poor build, like a cheap plastic/casing that is doubted to last even 6 months. It will be entirely different than the pic.nnThere is no media provided with laptop (OS, drivers, tools etc). It has one usable partition C with 460 GB data. The other one is reserved for recovery. I follow a standard layout of C = OS, D = Data, E = Important Files; but without media I can’t format it in usual manner. The other option is tedious downloading the OS from Windows site, retrieving serial (not sure if possible from HP/Flipkart support), and downloading drivers (available on HP site). Else, just go on with standard partition but at the risk of losing data in case OS gets corrupted. Furthermore, the OEM OS comes with lot of trash and it took me 2 hours for a clean setup.nnThe main reason I fell prey to this laptop was 5th generation i3 processor and would have settled with it unless I noticed even here the laptop provided by Flipkart sellers take a big hit. I happened to visit HP authorized store and could see same model 206TU available there but with a completely different looks and specs. While the base was as glossy and shiny as the upper lid and seemed sturdy, the processor as well in that laptop was 5010U that is advance than 5005U provided in both laptops I took from Flipkart sellers. Of course laptop at HP store was costlier by 2K but this marginal difference would hardly matter rather facing all the issues I had with both laptops from Flipkart sellers. I highly recommend a thorough check taking few extra hours or even days on every aspect of laptop/system rather repenting later.nnAs of yet I can’t determine the actual issue resides with Flipkart or the Sellers or their importer, however, need to mention here Flipkart technical team gave me nightmares when I registered issues for both the laptops. I had to squander my office hours merely to attend their call that resulted in a very unprofessional follow up. nnOn the unfortunate closure, my verbatim review on this product was removed from Flipkart site right after I reduced rating. A constant followup with Flipkart CS reinstated it.nnThe only assuaging factor here has been good response from couple of Flipkart customer care representatives who unlike others didn't disconnect the call or ignore the raised issues.nnFlipkart Team: You possess a knack doing good job and many customers trust you; it's more than a responsibility to prove that trust not a mistake and first step in that direction is letting customer review be transparent and available to all.n=======================================nCorsair 300R Chassis/ Intel i7 3770 CPU/ Coolermaster TX3 EVO CPU Cooler/ Asus P8H77 m-pro Motherboard/ 16 GB Ripjaws X G.Skill DDR3 RAM/ Sapphire 7770 1GB DDR5 Graphic card/ ASUS DX Soundcard/ Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB SSD/ Seagate 3TB Barracuda HDD/ Seagate 2TB Barracuda HDD/ Seagate 1TB Expansion Plus Ext.
