On the whole, we like both the look and feel of this handset, but it\'s not without its flaws. Chief among them is the quality of its construction materials, with the back cover being made from a relatively flimsy plastic, which has a slight, albeit tangible, flex to it and is prone to creaking. It looks durable, mind you -- we don\'t expect its matte surface to degrade too badly over time -- but the phone\'s rigidity comes almost entirely from t...

There?s no such thing as a small WP 7 phone. However, 4.3 inches of screen estate are really something else. The best case scenario: the HTC HD7 is the phone you?ve been waiting for. The worst case scenario: it?s too big to fail. The HTC HD7 was inevitable. Was it not the first Windows Phone 7 ever rumored? And rightly so. The HTC HD7 wears its potential on its sleeve. The biggest of the first batch of Windows Phone 7 devices, at 4.3-inches it’s also one of the largest smartphones of any OS on the market. Available exclusively on O2 in the UK right now, and T-Mobile in the USA from November 8, ...

The HTC HD7 is the biggest Windows Phone 7 device to launch Microsoft`s new mobile OS. With a huge, 4.3-inch display, and a kickstand for support, does it measure up to the others?...

Sometimes the world of mobile tech is wonderfully full of surprises. Take Microsoft and their smartphone OS that became a dirty word in a world captivated by the iPhone, Android and even a somewhat OS 6-revived BlackBerry. It's been many months since a Windows Mobile device was released, and no one (beyond us tech reviewers) seemed to notice or care. Windows Mobile devices disappeared from the parade of new releases because Microsoft has been har...

Pros: Huge 4.3" display, kickstand and good call quality.

Cons: What's not: Screen is lackluster, camera is so-so.

Verdict: If you're a T-Mobile customer looking to try a new Windows 7 Phone, the HD7 is a great way to start. It's not perfect, but the display size, classy looking hardware and kickstand are big pluses. Until the Dell Venue Pro hits retail shelves (if it eve...
