The innovative smartphone
Display and configuration
HTC One Dual SIM version sports a high quality 4.7 inch Super LCD 3 Touch screen display with a FullHD resolution of 1080p. Colors are vibrant and crisp on its FullHD screen which packs a density of 468 ppi. The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has been powered by 1.7 GHz Quad core Krait processor from Qualcomm. The processor has been complemented by Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of Ram.
Camera and storage
HTC One series has brought with it the concept of Ultra pixels which are said to be excellent when it comes to low light photography. The 4 Ultra pixel camera of HTC One could easily perform at par with a 13MP normal camera. To facilitate video calling, this device brings along a 2 MP front camera.
One can store enormous amount of files in its 32GB inbuilt storage. If that doesn’t suffice, you can always opt to expand it further up to 64GB to meet your needs.
Connectivity and battery
HTC One dual SIM is a gem of the device. Beautiful looks and stunning display have been garnished with a wonderfully customized OS to make it an exclusive device. Though it doesn't feature bizarre features like Samsung Galaxy S4, but its own awesome features like BlinkFeed, BeatsAudio, BoomSound etc make this device worthy to be owned. Camera performs wonders in the low-light. In daylight, it lacks a bit if compared to Galaxy S4. Go for it if you can afford.

Overall: my wife bought me the phone.

I loved the phone. Looks amazing.
Speaker stopped working after a month..
The car app started behaving weirdly.
it has been in service center for past 40 days. they will not replace the phone nor do they know how to fix it. The replacement warranty is only valid for the first 14 days after purchase which is a pretty bad deal. They have a repair warranty but unfortunately the customer care does not know how to service the phone.
Reply from customer care on asked when my phone will be fixed " Sir, HTC one is a new phone. This is why there are no available spare parts for the phone. You have no choice but to wait for the spare part which may come next month from Taiwan. It is manufactured there. We do not give you a spare phone to use in that time. There is no 100% guarantee that we can give you. For sure we will repair it but we cannot specify a date".
From this I'm sure you guys know how bad the after sales service is of HTC one.
The customer care is ill trained and does not support customers who have spent 40k for their flagship phone.
Agreed the phone looks great and sounds great and feels great... but if you face any hardware issues.. you'l have to buy a new phone or wait a couple of months for the part to reach India from Taiwan. I guess someone walks all the way from Taiwan to deliver parts to other parts of the world.
Jokes aside, I had a really frustrating experience with HTC.
Will never make the HTC mistake again.
Oh and one more thing, HTC never responds to your negative feedback surveys and you have no means to contact the supervisor of the customer care to escalate your concerns.
