A budget smartphone from Intex
Display and Configuration
The Intex Aqua 3G NS comes with a 4.0-inch TFT display, this screen has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and an average pixel density of 233 ppi. Due to its small and compact size this phone is easy to hold and carry.
This phone is powered by a single core Cortex A7 processor which is clocked at 1.0GHz and sits on a Spreadtrum SC 7715 chipset. Which is supported by only 256MB of RAM and Mali 400-MP GPU for acceptable performance. Android v4.2.2 (Kitkat) runs as the OS.
Camera and Storage
This smartphone has a basic 2MP camera as its primary shooter. This camera includes features like Digital Zoom and Flash. For video calling and selfies it also has a basic VGA front camera, which will disappoint most of the selfie freaks. The internal storage is only 512MB, which is too low by todayÂs standard but thankfully it can be expanded upto 32GB with the help of a MicroSD card.
Battery and Connectivity
A 1,400mAh li-ion battery supplies all the needed juice to the phone. This battery gives up to 3.5 hours of talktime while on 3G networks and up to 180 hours of standby time on 3G networks. The Connectivity options are GPRS, Edge, WiFi, 3G, USB connectivity, A-GPS and Bluetooth.
Intex has launched the Aqua 3G NS for the first time smartphone buyers. This phone is a bit poorly configured with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, both are a bit low by today's standard. The camera is also just average. It's good only for first time Android smartphone buyers who are tight on budget.
