The Kenxinda Metro 1001 flaunts a 3.5-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 320 x 480 pixels which provides a pixel density of 165ppi. The phone is powered by 1.3GHz single-core processor paired with 512MB RAM which can only run one application at a time. The touchscreen phone runs Android Gingerbread as its operating system.
The phone is stacked with 0.3MP primary and secondary cameras. The main camera is backed by LED flash to assist capturing photos in low light. The phone sips juice from a 1,700mAh li-ion battery which gives decent hours of talktime. The phone consists of limited internal memory of 512MB which is expandable up to 8GB via a microSD card slot.
The Metro 1001 supports 3G and Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth and Mobile Hotspot among other connectivity features. To keep the users entertained, there is FM Radio with loudspeaker.
The Kenxinda Metro 1001 has all the attributes of a basic smartphone, but the configuration is too weak to run heavy application or even multitask. Even the cameras are ordinary, however if you have never used a smartphone and want to try it for the first time at a minimum cost then you may want to consider this one.
