A waterproof phone that packs a punch
Kyocera has been known for making low priced performance phones and the Hydro Elite falls into that category. The 4.3 inch display is crisp and fits snugly into any users hands. The best feature about this phone is the ability to be underwater for over 30 mins and still function, so essentially it is a waterproof phone. Hence, the user doesn't have to worry about accidental spills and rains. Another unique feature is the Smart Sonic Receiver, which is essentially an absence of front speaker and sound is transmitted by small vibrations to the bone which results in better sound quality irrespective of surrounding noise.
The sleek design gives the feel of being a premium phone. The display is sufficiently vibrant and although colours and videos don't appear lifelike like an IPS display, it does a pretty good job, although the off axis viewing isn’t all that great. It comes with a host of features which gives the feel of a stock android with a bit of tweaks from Kyocera.
The camera is good and is capable of shooting 1080p videos without stuttering and the basic camera tweaks gives a user control over the quality of photos being shot. The multiple apps provided by google play will let you tweak your pictures with ease.
