The Kyocera Hydro Vibe is a lightweight phone with good performance and battery backup. However, considering its features the device seems to be a bit overpriced.

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe poses a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The phone features a poor pixel density of 245ppi. Acting as a backbone of the phone is a 1.2GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor seated on a Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 chipset. The Adreno 305 graphics engine along with the combination of 1GB RAM outputs adequate display for gaming and watching videos. The phone runs on Android v4.4.2 (Kitkat) operating system. It weighs 139gm and is available in black colour.
Camera and storage
The Kyocera Hydro Vibe sports a 8 MP auto-focus camera inclusive of LED flash and digital zoom feature. The camera also features High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) option Smile detection option. For selfie admirers, there is a 2MP snapper at the front. One can easily record quality videos with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 @30fps. The phone has an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded upto 32GB via a microSD card.

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe absorbs its energy from a 2,000mAh li-ion non-removable battery which keeps the show running for a fair amount of time. The phone features a wide range of connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, EDR, GPS with A-GPS, USB Port, Computer sync, NFC, OTA sync and Tethering.
