An affordable phablet from Lenovo
The Lenovo A529 flaunts a 5-inch LCD multi-touch display with a WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels) and a pixel density of just 187 ppi. It runs on dated Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Under the hood, the smartphone is packed with a 1.3GHz dual-core processor sitting on MediaTek MT6572 chipset and paired with a paltry 256MB RAM.
The Lenovo A529 has a 2MP camera at the back but lacks any snapper on the front. It has a very low onboard memory of 512MB which can be expanded up to 32GB. The connectivity options supported by the device include Wi-Fi, USB port, Bluetooth, GPS and GPRS/EDGE. The Lenovo A529 keeps the show running with a li-ion battery of 2,000mAh.
The Lenovo A529 is made for the people looking to buy an Android phablet but don't want to go beyond a fixed budget. The lack of front camera and 3G connectivity make it a poor deal.
