Overall: I received this laptop on 20th August from Amazon.in with DOS installed . Initially it was working fine with windows 8 though the mouse is not very user friendly. On 4th September suddenly the keyboard and touch pad stopped working. It was the last day I could return this product !! I did chat with lenovo support and they told me to reinstall windows 8.1 or Windows 7 64 bit. It will fix my problem. I tried it and in the mean time I missed the opportunity to return.
I installed win 7 64 bit and installed all the drivers needed for the same, downloading from Lenovo website. But problem was still there.Some times after restarting the keyboard and touch pad worked for few minutes but dead again. 5th September I went to the nearest Lenovo service centre, they barely heard the details of the problem just opened the laptop to check and told me that the keyboard is faulty. I have to call customer care and request on site servicing. I called and tried to tell the problem.. but the support person other side keep asking questions like if any liquid was poured , if I have taken pulled out any key ! like that, when in I told the person that I went to the service centre and they declared it faulty.. he lodged the request and told me that in 2-3 days the service engineer will come with the spare keyboard. Also gave me SR no. which I tried in LENOVO's website to check status after 48 hrs as they asked, but no result , I mean nothing every time. I waited like a fool and finally called the Customer care again today 8th Sept. the support person keep me on hold without telling me, and after 7-8 mins she told me that it will take 2-3 days again to reach. I was like dumb to hear that.. and she tried to explain me the reason. I dont know.. how many more days I have to wait.
If you are a working person.. please dont buy Lenovo laptop. Their support process is very poor.
