The Lenovo Phab 2 features a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display of HD resolution with a pixel density of 229ppi. It comes in a gold or grey colour body having metallic finish. The device weighs around 225grams and has dimensions of 175 (H) x 88.5 (W) x 9.6 (T) mm.
OS and Configuration
The phablet runs on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. Performance wise it boasts of a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735 processor, assisting it is a 3GB RAM and MediaTek MT8735 GPU. These features lends this gadget a great performance power.
Camera and Storage
The device houses a 13MP autofocus camera on the back along with an LED flash and also packs a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. As for storage, it consists of 32GB of internal storage space that can be further increased up to 128GB using a microSD card on its hybrid SIM slot.
Connectivity and Battery
The Lenovo Phab 2 offers wide range of connectivity options, such as hybrid SIM slots, 4G, Wi-Fi with hotspot tethering, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and USB connectivity. It lacks a fingerprint sensor, a pretty standard feature for a device of its price but contains several other sensors such as proximity, light, accelerometer, compass and gyroscope. The device is powered by a non removable 4,050 mAh li-polymer battery.
The Lenovo Phab 2 is a smartphone with a huge display, commonly known as a phablet.
