LG’s latest Phablet, the G Pro Lite comes with a massive 5.5 inch qHD display which has a 540x960 pixels resolution and although being such a massive display, the pixel density is a mediocre 200 ppi which makes the display look lacklustre at first glance and full HD videos stutters and lags quite often. Underneath its cover, it is powered by a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 dual core processor and the PowerVR SGX531 takes care of the graphics department. The RAM Available is 1 GB out of which approximately 500MB is available to the user. The Android v4.1 Jelly Bean takes care of the OS.
Storage and Camera
8GB of onboard storage is what LG offers and it is expandable upto 64GB with microSD card. So memory should be of no problem for any kind of user. The 8MP camera is brilliant and comes with Backlight illuminated sensor, geotagging, inbuilt lenses for effects and autofocus. The camera along with the high megapixel count has a brilliant sensor so photo clicking will not be an issue at all.
Connectivity and Battery
The Phablet comes in both single sim and dual sim variants with the dual sim having a dedicated hotkey for sim switching. The battery is massive at 3140mAH and call will last on moderate to heavy usage for a whole day.
LG jumps into the Phablet foray with its G Pro Lite which is a jazzed down version of its premium phone, the G2. The screen is a kind of let down inspite of being so massive and bright with its inability to play HD videos properly and low resolution. Although being quite powerful and having a decently good camera, the first impression of this phone isn't so great.
