Design and Display
The Meizu M3E flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display having pixel density of 401ppi. The phone has a superb build quality as itÂs made using aerospace-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy. Its slim and sandblasted metal body gives it a premium feel and is available in five appealing colors which are sky grey, moonlight silver, rose gold, champagne gold and glacier blue.
OS and Configuration
The smartphone runs on Android-based YunOS with Flyme UI on the top. At its core, the device is armed with 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor, which ensures a smooth and lag-free experience even for demanding applications. It is clubbed with mammoth 3GB of RAM that allows you to quickly switch between various applications. Furthermore its Mali T860 GPU handles high resolution games and other graphic demanding applications really well.
Camera and Storage
The handset sports a 13MP rear camera powered by Sony IMX258 sensor. It also has a dual tone LED flash, an f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and a fast 0.2s phase detection autofocus. On the connectivity options available on this device include Hybrid SIM, dual band Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and microUSB 2.0. The smartphone comes with an improved mTouch fingerprint sensor fingerprint sensor that unlocks your phone as soon as you tap on it. Other sensors present in this phone are light, proximity, accelerometer, compass and gyroscope. The handset is powered by 3,100 mAh li-polymer battery and also features an industry-leading 18W charging power as well as MeizuÂs mCharge technology, allowing it to juice up to maximum capacity in just an hour.
The Meizu M3E, in a similar fashion to all of its predecessors, pairs great deal of specs with an elegant design and comes at a decent price. It has almost all the features one usually desires in a smartphone.
