Low-end Android KitKat smartphone
Display and Configuration
The Micromax Bolt A069 sports a 5-inch LCD capacitive multi touch display with 16M color architecture, a FWVGA resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a resolution of 196ppi which is not so impressive.
On the inside, the smartphone possesses a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU loaded on MediaTek MT6572 chipset. The CPU is supported by a RAM of 512MB which may pose problems as soon as you run simultaneous tasks or load multiple apps.
It runs the latest Android v4.4.2 OS out of the box. The support for multiple languages makes the phone extremely lucrative in the Indian market.
Camera and Storage
The smartphone comes with a 5MP rear facing shooter on board which, along with LED flash, supports superb HD videos at 30fps. It also has an equally impressive 2MP snapper on the front. The storage needs of the user are managed by the 4GB inbuilt memory which can be upgraded up to 32GB.
Battery and Connectivity
Powered by an 1,800mAh Li-ion battery, the Micromax Bolt A069 promises to deliver up to 7 hours of talktime and up to 210 hours of standby life in 2G network. On the connectivity front, it has features like GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, USB port, mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 and GPRS with EDGE.
The Micromax Bolt A069 is designed to give you access to the latest apps and games from Android without costing much. It also has a sound processor, a good rear camera and a large multi touch display. The inability to support 3G is a big drawback though. You can choose from various sizzling colors like pure grey, mellow yellow, tranquil green, pristine white, pure grey and raging red.
