All that available in the budget category, packed into one device
Micromax's latest handset sports a nice 2.4 inches of QVGA (320 x 240 pixels resolution) TFT display that is capable of rendering clear visuals. Shutterbugs can use the capabilities of the 0.3MP rear camera. Photos so taken, as well as other multimedia, can easily be stored using external microSD card, up to a limit of 8GB. The device boasts of Dual SIM connectivity, as well as GPRS, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity. The device runs on a Li-ion battery.
A good thing about Micromax is that it manages to release budget handsets that appear to be tailor made for the average user. The X281 is no exception since it comes with a nice camera, decent provision for external storage, good connectivity and a nice display. A wider choice of colours would have appealed to a wider audience, no doubt, but the device is still one of the best choices available for anyone seeking great features in the budget category.
