The Microsoft Lumia 650 is stylishly designed with its premium metal casing and feels light and comfortable, weighing 122 grams with a width of 6.9mm. It has a 5.0-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen , protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with the resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels and a pixel density of 294ppi which displays colourful and clear images. The device houses a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset supported by 1GB RAM, Adreno 304 as the GPU and runs on the Windows v10 OS.
Camera and Battery
The Lumia 650 sports an 8 MP rear camera equipped with Autofocus, LED Flash and Digital Zoom and a secondary 5MP front snapper for selfies and video calling. The camera allows HD video recording and has additional features such as the Auto Flash, Face detection and Touch to focus. It is powered by a 2,000mAh li-ion battery which provides a talk time up to 13 hours and 16 hours in 3G and 4G networks respectively.
Storage and Connectivity
The Lumia 650 is packed with an internal storage of 16GB which can be expanded up to 200GB with the help of a micro SD card. it is a dual SIM device which supports both 3G and 4G networks and has other connectivity options such as the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and Glonass, GPRS and EDGE. The device also sports additional sensors such as the Accelerometer, Proximity and Light sensors.
The device has a brilliant design and looks classy, it provides a lot of storage for multimedia files and has a good battery too but fails to completely satisfy us with its processor. All in all a good reliable device for the mid-range budget and is a good option for Windows lovers.
