Its name may suggest that this is Motorola`s latest high-end flagship, but the `FIRE` is in fact a cheap-and-cheerful alternative to RIM`s business-focussed BlackBerrys That doesn`t mean Moto have skimped on specs, though. Once it reaches the UK this summer, the Motorola Fire will be running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, coupled with Moto`s Switch UI. This enables users to users to switch into various pre-defined work-centric or friend-centric mo...

Motorola has recently announced the new Fire and Fire XT Android smartphones. The Fire XT is the more expensive touch phone, while the Fire is the cheaper of the two and is of the touch and type variety. The number of phones launching with touch and......

Verdict: The Motorola Fire is priced at Rs. 9,490. To sum it up, the phone has a sluggish interface, the build is pretty cheap and the camera is really not worth clicking pictures. Also, the screen is extremely low-res and it just dampens the whole experience...

Overall: Excellent phone - loved it the first time I saw it and ordered it right-away from Flipkart!nnFound out that the Alt key on the right side doesn't unfortunately work - Flipkart was kind enough to arrange for a reverse pick-up and replacement. The replacement piece also had the same defect :(. nnI think this is something that Motorola, which is currently looking at rebuilding its brand, needs to very seriously look into, as one can find references to this defect all over the web already!!!nnSo, am getting a refund from Flipkart - would've loved to keep this phone, but only if it was fully functional. Please go ahead and order this phone if you are willing to manage with just one of the Alt keys working..Thanks for reading!nnSreekanth.
