Display and Configuration
The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 sports a 5.0-inch HD 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and oleophobic coating. The display has a resolution of 294ppi. It is encased in a polycarbonate unibody body with magnesium-titanium alloy chassis.
The device is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 CPU, aided by Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Obi's custom UI called Lifespeed.
Camera and Storage
For imaging, it gets an 8MP rear camera with an OmniVision OV8865 sensor, an LED flash, and f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP front-facing shooter for taking quality selfies. It offers 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 32GB. The phone comes with several useful pre-loaded applications like AVG AntiVirus PRO, Swiftkey, AccuWeather, ColorNote, and Clean Master.
Battery and Connectivity
The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 comes with dual-SIM slots, 3G, 4G (does not support Indian bands), GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB etc. To keep the device up and running, a 3,000mAh battery fuels it.
The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 is a good looking smartphone with an attractive display, good quality cameras and a large battery backup. However, it has a meagre RAM capacity as compared to other phones in this range.
