Oppo is perhaps better known for its Blu-Ray players, but if the Find 5 fails to place it on the map as a phone maker, we don`t know what will. The 5" 1080p screen will sure have plenty of eyeballs on it and its 441ppi density will certainly impress most, but the Find 5 has flagship specs almost all the way through - and we mean 2013 flagships. Oppo Find 5 official images The Oppo Find 5 is one of a series of Android phones we`ll see this year to...

Verdict: Oppo doesn`t have a history in phones, but you`d never tell just by looking at the Find 5. It`s a beautiful device with killer specs and, better still, it`s priced lower than the competition. We really liked the screen of the Find 5 - the phone carri...

The name "OPPO" probably doesn't come to mind when thinking of which phone to buy next, but the Chinese manufacturer is working hard to try and change that. Best known for making high quality Blu-Ray players and various other consumer electronics, the company has only dabbled in phones previously. But with an aggressive strategy of building high-end devices and selling direct to customers with some impressive prices, the components ...

Pros: Extremely well-built case with quality materials. Great, high-resolution display with good viewing angles. Unlocked and pentaband HSPA+ 42 radio. The promise of frequent software updates and a generally passionate hacking community give you many software

Cons: Large, heavy and often uncomfortable to hold while using one-handed. Capacitive keys, including a menu key, hinder usability both physically and in the software. Camera sensor is better than average, but the software backing it up lacks all common ca

Verdict: The OPPO Find 5 probably wont appeal to as wide of an audience as its manufacturer had hoped. There are some usability issues in both hardware size and software features that make it hard to recommend to just anyone, even with its great build qu...

With this year`s Oppo Find 5, however, the Chinese company, established 2004, proved that it can make world-class phones in the hottest consumer electronics category at the moment. Has Oppo managed to prove that in this day and age any nimble......

Pros: Bright 1080x1920 pixel Full HD screen with very good viewing angles ; 20% cheaper than competing flagships ; HDR video mode comes handy in many situations ; Strong and clear loudspeaker

Cons: Basic version comes with 11 GB of user-available memory ; The handset is on the heavy and uncomfortable side ; Jittery autofocus and framerate during video capture ; Side key travel is shallow

Verdict: It wouldn`t be an exaggeration to say that these days any electronics manufacturer can pick Android and slap together a phone or two with off-the-shelf parts. The real challenge, however, is to pick the right ingredients for polished performance in a...

    06 May 2013 | slashgear

The smartphone OPPO Find 5 was a surprise to behold when it first left the box here on the SlashGear review bench, mostly because when a relatively unknown smartphone brand delivers a package that appears to be too good to be true, it generally is. Here with OPPO Find 5′s 5-inch display at 1080p, a Qualcomm quad-core processor, and a 13 megapixel camera connected at its center by a unique user interface, it seemed as though the company had ...

Verdict: The OPPO Find 5 is not a Samsung Galaxy device, nor is it an iPhone. It’s not a Motorola hardcore delivery, nor is it an LG powerhouse, or a Google Nexus device for that matter. It’s not the HTC One and it’s certainly not a Sony dev...

    31 May 2013 | coolsmartphone

The OPPO find 5 is unknown to some, a curiosity to others and an item of desire to others (James). For me it`s been all three and is now my daily driver. To be clear, this isn`t a review unit [......

Verdict: The OPPO Find 5 has got a screen to die for and build quality to shame the likes of Samsung, and because of this other comparisons kick in with big name flagship phones. What has to be remembered, however, is the price. At 399 Euros (about u00a3342) ...
