Display and Design
The Oppo N3 shows off an amazing 5.5-inch IPS LCD full HD (1,080 x 1,920 pixels) multi-touch display with a pixel density of 403 ppi. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3.0 protects it against fingerprints and scratches.
It is wrapped in a 9.9mm thick solid aluminium alloy casing covered with plastic and having a weight of 192 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor, and a glowing notification light called Skyline in a metallic arc at the bottom of the device.
CPU and OS
The Oppo N3 features a Krait 400 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and based on Qualcomm MSM8974AA Snapdragon 801 chipset. It is aided by a 2GB RAM so that you can deal with high-end tasks simultaneously with utmost ease. Rich graphics is guaranteed by Adreno 330 GPU. It runs on Color OS 2.0, a platform based on Android v4.4 KitKat OS.
Unbeatable Motorized Camera
It is the motorized 16-megapixel shooter carried by the Oppo N3 which steals all the show. The term motorized means that the snapper can track elements as they move. It can swivel up to 206 degrees and rotates automatically while capturing panoramas.
The camera has a sensor size of 1/2.3Â, a pixel size of 1.3 micrometer and utilizes high quality Schneider Kreuznach certified lens. Other features include geo-tagging, dual LED flash, autofocus, touch focus and HDR. It also supports after focus, ultra macro mode, slow shutter and manual control which fall under the company's Ultra image 2.0.
You can use the Bluetooth-supported O-Click remote button to trigger the camera as well as adjust its lens. You can also make a simple gesture on the display to swivel the camera and click a selfie.
Storage, Battery and Connectivity
The Oppo N3 boasts of 32GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB. It is fuelled by a sealed 3,000mAh Li-Po battery which can be recharged up to 75 percent in merely half an hour with a VOOC charger. Connectivity wise, it supports NFC, USB OTG, 4G (selected brands), 3G, WiFi 5GHz, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and USB port.
