The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection keeps it free from scratches and smudges. It is just 8mm thick and weighs merely 131g.
For driving its processes, it depends on 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor based on 64 bit Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset. It is paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU to ensure smooth and fast performance. It ships with the latest Android v5.0 Lollipop OS and becomes the company's first smartphone to do so.

The Panasonic Eluga U2 carries a 13MP autofocus rear camera which supports LED flash, BSI sensor, touch focus, CMOS sensor, geo-tagging and face detection and can record full HD videos.
