Display, Design and OS
The Penta T-Pad WS1001Q 16GB comes with a big 10.1-inch IPS display which has a screen resolution of 800 x 1,280 pixels and the pixel density is 149 ppi. The tablet comes only in a silver color. Android v4.4.2 (Kitkat) runs as the OS in this tablet.
Configuration, Storage and Camera
A quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz runs under the hood coupled with a 1GB RAM. The Penta T-Pad WS1001Q is equipped with 16GB of internal storage, hence storing data and installing apps are not a problem. You can even expand the storage upto 32GB with the help of an external MicroSD card. The tablet also supports USB OTG.
This Penta T-Pad comes with a 5MP main shooter with LED Flash and digital Zoom feature. The front camera is 2MP shooter which is mostly useful during video calls.
Battery and Connectivity
A massive 7,000mAh Li-Po Non-removable battery supplies all the power that is required to run the device. As the battery has a such huge capacity so it takes a while to fully charge the device. The connectivity options are Dual Sim capability, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The Penta T-Pad WS1001Q even supports Micro HDMI (Type D) connectivity.
The Penta T-Pad WS1001Q carries a decent set of features, but seems a bit overpriced. Configuration is good enough to ensure a lag-free experience while playing medium graphics game, watching videos, surfing internet and reading books. The connectivity options are also good with some useful options like USB OTG and Micro HDMI connectivity. The operating system is a bit outdated though.
