Samsung Galaxy Star is the cheapest Samsung Android phone sporting a 3 inch capacitive touch screen running Android 4.1.2 Jellybean out of the box. It features a 1GHz processor along with 512MB of ram which is enough to keep the device running smoothly during multi-tasking.
On the camera front, it offers 2 Mega Pixels camera at the back but lacks a front camera for video calling. Samsung Galaxy Star houses 4GB of internal memory to store your stuffs and is further expandable up to 32GB.
Being an ultra-affordable device, it lacks 3G but features 2G and Wi-Fi for internet connectivity. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB etc.

The company has focused on affordability hence compromised with some core features (e.g. 3G) to keep the costing in control. However, kudos to Samsung for providing a good configuration, storage and latest OS at this price. Recommended if you can survive without 3G.
