Great design with improved features
Design and Configuration
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with a thinner bezel, which increases the screen area to surface area ratio, while ensuring a narrower and thinner body, which is easier to hold. The screen itself is a brilliant 7 inches TFT with 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, giving 16M colour depth for delightful clarity.
This elegant device is powered by a 1200MHz Dual Core processor with 1GB of RAM, which should suffice for all but the most heavy of tasks.
Camera and Storage
The new Galaxy series is provided with decent shooters, and the Tab 3 7.0 comes with a 3.2MP camera with flash and HD recording, which is good enough considering this is primarily a tablet. An 1.3MP front camera provides video calling facility.
Great storage is provided by the 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded.
Connectivity and battery
The Tab 3 7.0 comes with 3G (HSDPA/HSUPA) connectivity for blazing fast browsing. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS (with A-GPS) and GLONASS, microUSB connectivity are also provided with this device.
The 4000mAh battery provided is sufficient for upto seven hours of normal usage, and supports 109 hours of standby time.
As part of Samsung's new series of tablets, the Tab 3 7.0 16GB brings good specs. Coupled with such features as a Dual core processor and sufficient RAM, is the decent display and more strikingly, the modified design which allows the user to hold the tablet more comfortably. Overall, when we consider the quality of Samsung products, these specs appear great for anyone looking for a good tab of daily use.
