The budget smartphone from samsung
Display and Configuration
The entry level smartphone market is growing strong, and Samsung, The worldâÂÂs largest smartphone manufacturer is looking to tighten its grip on this market too with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite S7390 smartphone. It is packed with a 4 inch TFT LCD display which is large enough for many wanting to switch from candybar shaped phones. With a resolution of 800x480 pixels and capable of displaying 16M colours, the screen is no slouch. Underneath this screen, powering this device is a 1GHz Single core processor augmented with 512MB of RAM to ensure smooth app running.
Camera and storage
A smartphone without a camera is unimaginable, and thus samsung has packed in a 3 MP shooter capable of clicking pics with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 Pixels, but the lack of a primary camera might be a bit of a put off. The internal storage is limited to 4GB but thankfully this can be increased to a whopping 64GB via a microSD card slot which is highly sufficient for all types of media storage one might need.
Connectivity and Battery
The Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite S7390 is feature packed in the connectivity department which includes HSDPA high speed 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, bluetooth with A2DP and GPS with glonass. This ensures that the user will never have a problem while on the go.
The battery at just 1500 mAH might seem like a bit low but samsung promises a talk time of over 8 hrs on a 2G network.
Now-a-days everyone wants a smartphone and all the big phone makers want to get a piece of that market share. Samsung with its Galaxy Trend Lite S7390 hopes to woo new buyers with the trust and after sales service of samsung along with providing a feature packed budget phone.
