The Sony VAIO E is supported by a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3 3rd Gen processor. 3rd Gen i3 processors are capable of handling anything, unless, process is high graphic intensive. All the graphic process is handled by inbuilt Intel HD 4000 graphic driver. It has a RAM of 2 GB, and comes with 2 slots for increasing RAM capacity. You can store up to 500 GB data on your VAIO E. All in all, machinery in this laptop is same as other laptops in similar price range, and it serves its purpose, remarkably. Multitasking is very smooth,and it works without any lags.
Operating System and Multimedia
The Sony VAIO E operates on Microsoft Windows 8 (64 bit) operating system. This operating system is the latest offering from software giant. Its a very user friendly and trusted OS, best for newbieÂs and inexperienced users. For Skype and other chatting purposes, it is equipped with 1.3 MP web camera. In addition to that, it has a DVD-RW optical drive, speakers with xLOUD Technology, Clear Phase sound quality, etc.
The laptop is charged with 6 cell li-on battery, which operates on 65 watt. It has a backup time of 4-5 hours, depending on uses, which is very good at this price range.
All things said, Sony VAIO E is a very decent offering. If you are a die-hard gamer than this device is not for you, but, for a casual user it performs admirably.
