Display and Configuration
The Videocon Ultra50 comes with a 5-inch HD (720 x 1,280 pixels)display and has a curved designed body. Inside the device, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor seated upon MediaTek MT6735 chipset. It is assisted by 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 MP2 graphics engine. The phone boots on Android v6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features a fingerprint sensor in the front.
Camera and Storage
The handset is stacked with a 13MP primary camera (gorilla lens) and a 5MP front shooter inclusive of LED flash. On the storage ground, the device has an internal memory of 32GB which can be further expanded upto 64GB using a microSD card.
Battery and Connectivity
The device is fuelled by a 3,000mAh li-ion battery which claims to render a talktime upto 8 hours and can cope upto 350 hours in standby mode. For networking and sharing, the device offers options such as 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and microUSB 2.0.
The Videocon Ultra50 is a nice choice with quality features. It has all the setup which one desires in a smartphone and too at such a suitable budget. The performance and the camera of this model is good. One can enjoy video calls via VoLTE connectivity and the users need to worry about camera lens scratch, thanks to the gorilla protection in it. However, a full HD display would have been a great package rather than an HD display in this price tag.
