A dual sim candybar phone with a large screen
Yxtel, the chinese company launches the C900, a cell phone that looks suspiciously like the xperia P from Sony, with a 4.04 inch TFT LCD display that Yxtel claims is capable of displaying 16 million colours with a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The specs are not described by Yxtel in detail, but 1GB of inbuilt memory is expandable to 16GB via a microSD card. The OS seems to be proprietary.
The camera is unimpressive with both the front and back camera being only VGA capable of shooting pictures at 640 x 480 pixels, which surprisingly is even lower than the display resolution of the screen. It features digital zoom and video recording functions too.
The battery is standard at 1600mAH , but we can't speculate as to the exact life or talktime.
For someone who needs a lookalike phone at a shade of the expense of the original phone, then Yxtel C900 does the job for you, but many consumers might be wary of buying chinese products.
