There is much that can be said about the ZTE Blade V, the price and the quad-core processor. It almost singlehandedly proves that rise of the budget smartphone can`t be ignored. Varying international markets, a global recession and a rise in smartphone-buying teens mean that demand for cheaper smartphones has never been higher. Firms such as Chinese brands Huawei and ZTE have now become synonymous with low spec low cost devices, with Samsung`s Ga...

Pros: Cheap, Quad-core chip, Decent keyboard, Good battery life,

Cons: Rubbish camera, Laggy in places, Poor build quality, Low internal storage,

Verdict: It`s the best ZTE phone yet, although that isn`t saying much as previous phones were pretty dreadful. It`s a decent enough cheap handset, but despite the quad-core processor it felt underpowered. The camera is atrocious and there`s precious little st...

ZTE's latest addition to the Blade family is the Blade 3, but does this £79 Android smartphone have anything to offer beyond a budget price? Read our ZTE Blade 3 review to find out....

Verdict: While we find the ZTE Blade 3 and stylish and well-built handset for its budget price, its poor performance means that the Huawei Ascend G330 remains the best budget Android smartphone around and is worth the extra £20....

Overall: First day Review.nnDefinitely worth every penny. Used Smart Launcher to convert this phone to a Senior citizen phone., Only CON i could find is the lack of kinetic scrolling. It can get really annoying, and painful to get used to it. ( I am yet to find an app/hack to fix this )nnLooks : 5/5 THis phone is a looker, The blue backpanel has a silicon coat, which helps with the grip.nnDisplay :5/5 Touch response is really good, Unlike any budget Micromax smart phones i've tried.nnPerformance :3/5 THe 512mb ram causes bottleneck. even though CPU is powerful. nnLoudspeaker : 5/5.nnCamera : Couldn't test much. But didn't find anything wrong in couple of pictures i clicked. nnnOverall very good budget phone. It does not look or feel like a budget phone. Its definitely not for those who like to install many apps, as lack of ram becomes evident verysoon , . I was looking for a phone with Proximity Sensor, and 5MP camera in tight budget. If not for missing Kinetic Scrolling, I got everything i asked for. Mom loves it tooo.nnHappy Buyer here.
